Summer Art Camp - 10 Week Course

Hi Everyone, I want to update you all on the art summer classes and camps that have been put together and that I am currently scheduling.

Classes are $180 for 10 weeks
Mondays from 10:30 - 11:30 - Ages 5 - 8
This one is filling up fast, so I am scheduling another one for Fridays from 2:30 - 3:30 - Ages 5 - 8
I'm also currently scheduling a class on Fridays from 1:00 - 2:30 For ages 9 - 15

Camps are from Monday - Thursday (unless otherwise noted) from 1 - 4 for $120 per child.
June 28 - June 1  - Ages 5 - 8
July 6 - 9 - Ages 9 - 13 (This one is Tues - Friday due to 4th of July)
July 12 - 15 - Open
July 19 - 22 - Ages 5 - 8
July 26 - 29 - Ages 9 - 13

Summer Art Camp - Weekly

Art on Fifth Summer Art Camp runs all Summer beginning Tueday, June, 1st through Firday July 30th. Camps are scheduled based on the age of the child and are jam-packed with age-appropriate projects. Summer Art Camp is held weekly Monday through Friday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost is $120 per child per week.^

SUMMER ART CAMP 2010

Summer Art Camp at Art on Fifth is jam packed full of fun art projects including watercolor and acrylic painting, collage, mosaics, tie-dye, silk painting, 3-D art projects, and more! All Summer Art Camps are designed for the age of the Summer Art Camp participants for each week and the weeks that are indicated as "Open Age Group" are available for ages on a first come/first serve basis. Choose a week that works into your schedule and then call Karen at 774-4490 and we'll arrange for your child to be in a week that is designed for your child's age group.

^SPECIAL NOTES REGARDING ART ON FIFTH ART AND STUDIO CLASSES: All Art 'n Soul Studio classes are designed to be very relaxed where adults with an interest in exploring art will feel comfortable, regardless of experience or skill level. Whether you are a total beginner who wants a lot of personal instruction, someone who enjoyed painting years ago and is looking for some refresher instruction, an artist accomplished in one type of painting and is interested in exploring a new medium or style, or an accomplished artist who enjoys having a time and place to enjoy painting with a friendly group of people, these adult classes are a perfect fit for everyone. The adult classes are held weekly in 3-hour time blocks in order to have plenty of time to think and talk about the project, plan and design the painting, and practice techniques in order to achieve success in a relaxed manner.  A huge part of being part of an adult class is that the ideas that we share, and the unique qualities and styles other students bring to class provides a wonderful energy that serves to springboard the creativity and excitement of every student in the class. We may discover a technique or style that we had never thought of exploring that will send our artwork in a new and exciting direction.

Adult Classes: Adults are asked to bring their own supplies for the painting classes, but I am happy to share my paints, brushes, and other media to supplement your supplies. In classes that require special materials, a materials fee will be required.Adult classes are scheduled in 10 week sessions and are held for 3-hours per week. Three-hour classes are held once per week and are $150 for 10 weeks. Supply fees will be required for classes other than painting and vary according to specific materials.

Kids Classes: All kids' classes include all supplies, unless you have a special request.One hour per week classes are $180 for 10 weeks.One and a half hour per week classes are $200 for 10 weeks.I offer a group rate when 6 students register together of $120 per student for a 10-week session.

Class fees are based on 10-week sessions, but I appreciate the fact that we all lead busy, active lives, and things come up that may conflict with a regularly scheduled class. I never want you to be penalized when a conflict arises that prevents you from coming to class, so my policy is that you may come to class 10 times for the session fee, regardless of how many weeks you may need to skip.
